Would like to allow new metadata fields to be appended to events to attach some business data. We would like to use them for storing usage snapshots of the event as it happens, otherwise we would have to store them externally.

They do not need to be and should not be allowed to be used for searches, so no database index is needed and it can be stored as a JSONB.

User feedback:

"When the Sync creates a Product in Salesforce, I want automation to automatically add the Product through Pricebook Entry. However, we have multiple Pricebook and said Product has to be added to the right one(s).

Having a field on Plan would allow me to use it when the Product is created to achieve such automation."

"Does Lago offer any "custom field" capability when creating a plan? Also, is there any custom field capability involving fees? We have an internal mapping of categories for our charges. Having the ability to apply a "category" field to the charge would be very helpful. So when we retrieve a plan from Lago, within the array of charges, each charge would have a category field that we could set. We can't rely on filters due to the fact that some of our categories cross over multiple charges with the same billable metric code and filter combination."

That feature would be great. We are migrating from chargebee and it hurts not having metadata for plans.
